Packaging and Delivery of Your Gourmet Gift Box or Hamper

Packaging

The follow shows how your gourmet gift is meticulously and carefully packaged to ensure it will arrived in good condition as you have paid for and expected. Fabulously Gourmet take packaging very seriously and welcome any feedback to allow us to improve our service to you. It takes about 3 seconds for the slide show to change to the next picture. Delivery Charges & Policy

There are 2 categories of charges:

  1. Within State of Victoria, the delivery charge is $10.00 per box regardless of size if Delivery Mechanism A is used;
  2. Within Metropolitan Melbourne, the delivery charge is $15.00 per box regardless of size if Delivery Mechanism B is used; or
  3. Outside State of Victoria, the delivery charge is $15.00 per box regardless of size. The delivery mechanism will always be Delivery Mechanism A and the delivery agent is Australia Post.

The Standard Parcel Post service as defined by Australia Post (
www.australiapost.com.au) will be used if Delivery Mechanism A is used. This means that the your gift box will be delivered between 1 to 5 business days depending on remoteness and service availability through Australia Post. Note that this is only an estimate. Please refer to Australia Post Standard Parcel Post Service Standard as published in Australia Post website (www.australiapost.com.au).

Due to the low charges offer by Fabulously Gourmet, Fabulously Gourmet reserved the right to reject your order and refund you fully if the delivery charge to your location is beyond what the business considered an economical subsidy. We hope that this will be rare and apologise for any inconvenience that may caused in such rare instances.

As the gift set is composed of food items, health regulation will prevent us from accepting items that have been opened. It is therefore considered that you have accepted the delivery if you have opened any of the item for use.

The following are examples where refund will be refused:

  1. You have changed your mind about your order after packaging for the order has been completed;
  2. The gift has gone missing or damaged as you have requested leave the parcel to be left a designated spot when nobody is around to receive the parcel; or
  3. Your gift has not been delivered on your proposed date and/or time. This is because delays can be due to a multitude of reasons which are totally out of our control. We cannot guarantee unforeseen circumstances, such as weather and traffic conditions, theft or damage or a parcel not arriving on certain time.

If the goods are damaged then you must return the parcel immediately and notify Fabulously Gourmet via the contact form within 48 hours of receiving the parcel. Note that you will wavier this right if you choose not to sign for the parcel on arrival. Please provide description of damages and a picture where possible. Please attached these details to the
Contact Form. The parcel must be returned to the following address:

Once your refund is approved, the delivery charge will be subtracted from the total payment you or your sender has made and payment will be made to you or your sender's credit card used for the purchase.

Fabulously Gourmet will make its best effort to ensure you are satisfied with the service as well as the gift set that you or your sender has purchased for you. Please do not hesitate to provide us with a feedback to allow us the opportunity to better service your needs.

Additional Charges
There are potential additional charges depending on the delivery service if you are not there to receive the parcel on arrival and there is no instruction to leave the parcel at the premise. These charges if imposed will be at the control of the delivery provider, Fabulously Gourmet will have no control of it. However, we would like to know if you think charges are excessive and unreasonable.

If delivery cannot be made due to wrong provisioning of the delivery address by yourself then additional charge as per the delivery schedule will be charged plus an additional $10 of administration charge will be required for re-delivery. These additional charges is payable prior to re-delivery.
Delivery Mechanism A - by Post

This delivery mechanism is delivered through Australia Post. This mechanism is used for ALL delivery within Australia provided a door-to-door delivery is not required.
Delivery Mechanism B - Door-to-Door Delivery (Available to Metro-Melbourne Only)

This delivery mechanism is door-to-door delivery by Fabulously Gourmet. This form of delivery is only available in Metropolitan Melbourne from Monday to Friday. The packaging will still be as per shown in the slide show about unless it is pre-arranged with Fabulously Gourmet.
