Payment Options



Fabulously Gourmet provides the following two payment options to non-corporate customers:

  1. Full Once-Off Payment; and
  2. Lay-Buy.

Full Once-Off Payment
In this payment option, you will paying the full amount including delivery charge when you place an order through the "Buy Now" button. You can use one of the following credit card for this payment:

  • Master Card; or
  • Visa Card.

Once the payment is authorised, the selected gourmet gift box/hamper will be delivered according to destination detailed in the order form.

Lay-By
In this payment option, you will be paying the selected gourmet gift box/hamper including the delivery charge in monthly installment. Once the full amount is paid, the selected gourmet gift box/hamper will be delivered to the destination as outlined in the order form. Lay-by payment will be in monthly installment and the following are the options:

  1. Split over 2 monthly payments;
  2. Split over 3 monthly payments;
  3. Split over 4 monthly payments;
  4. Split over 5 monthly payments; or
  5. Split over 6 monthly payments.

There is no service charge but will incur a cancellation fee if installment payment is not paid in full. A non-refundable charge of 20% of the purchase price (including the delivery fee) will be charge if you cancel or breaks the Lay-By Agreement. The following is an example of how much each installment will be for a specific purchase price.

Lay-By Terms and Conditions


  1. 20% Deposit (calculated from the cost of the selected gourmet gift box/hamper and the delivery charge) is required at the time of the setting up the Lay-By Agreement via the Buy Now button.
  2. Subsequent monthly payment will be automatically deducted from your credit card number provided on the last day of each month until the full purchase amount at the time of this agreement is agreed upon.
  3. The selected gourmet gift box/hamper will be dispatched on the next business day after the last payment is made successfully.
  4. Lay-By are not entitled to any form of discount voucher(s) or special offer(s) at any time.
  5. A service fee in additional to the deposit may be required at the time setting up this agreement. It will clearly specify in the order form, if it is not specify in the order form then service fee is deemed to have been waived as part of a special offer.
  6. Cancellation by the customer will incur a cancellation charge equivalent to the Deposit as outlined in Clause 1 of this Terms and Conditions to reflect the Fabulously Gourmet selling costs and loss of value of the goods at the time of cancellation.
  7. Lay-bys of more than one item cannot be separated and must be paid for in full before collection.
  8. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Fabulously Gourmet of any change of address or contact details by emailing to sales@fabulouslygourmet.com.au. The Order Number must be specified when communicating this requirement. The current details to be changed must be specified as well to allow us to verify you are the original purchaser;
  9. The ownership of the lay-by goods will not pass to the customer until the total price has been paid and the terms and conditions of the lay-by contract have been fulfilled.
  10. Non-payment of any of the instalments set out above will be a breach of the lay-by agreement and Fabulously Gourmet may cancel the lay-by after giving the customer at least 14 days written notice of the breach. In such case the notice will be posted to the customer's last known address. If the customer has not made a further payment within the 14 days the customer will be deemed to have cancelled the lay-by. The customer will forfeit the goods and incur the cancellation charge as set out above and any remaining sum shall be reimbursed to the customer.
  11. If monies paid are less than the cancellation charge Fabulously Gourmet may recover any outstanding amount from the customer.
  12. If Fabulously Gourmet cancels the lay-by other than for a breach of the above conditions then all monies will be returned to the customer without a cancellation charge being incurred.
  13. This payment option is only available for the non-corporate customers and each customer (identified through the credit card number used for the purchase) is entitled to arrange up to 3 gourmet gift boxes/hampers at any one time.
  14. If there is multiple lay-by for the same customer which are still outstanding, any payment will be distributed equally to all the outstanding debts.
