Q. What are your hours of business & where is your head office located?

Fabulously Gourmet is a web based gourmet gift delivery service so you can purchase a gift for delivery at any time of the day and week. If you wish to speak to us in person, we are never far away from the phone but to help us to manage phone calls and hence reduce the operation cost which we will pass back to you by keeping cost of your gift down; we would appreciate it very much if you could email us via the webiste via the Contact page leaving your contact details there.

Q. Do you offer same day service & Australia wide delivery?
Fabulously Gourmet currently provide next business days, number of business days as per Australian Post Parcel Post delivery schedule The details of the coverage area and fees schedule can be found in the Delivery Schedule page.
Q. How does my gift get there?
Unless you have pre-arranged with us on a separate delivery requirement and charges, we will be using the Australia Post delivery service. Please refer to the Delivery Schedule for the fees.
Q. How do you make sure the gift is delivered to the right person?
When we ship the gift to the recipient, our delivery service provider will require the signature of the person receiving the gift. If no one is there to receipt your gift, with your permission the gift can be left in a safe place on the property of your recipient. If you prefer the gift not to be left unattended, Australia Post will leave a calling card for alternate pickup or delivery arrangement; alternate arrangement may incur a charge imposed by Australia Post. It is your responsibility to discuss that with Australia Post directly at the time of delivery re-arrangement as it is out of control at that point in time.
Q. What if my gift was not delivered at the time I requested?

Fabulously Gourmet advises although we use reputable carriers to deliver our hampers, from time to time delays are experienced for a multiplicity of reasons which are totally out of our control. We cannot guarantee unforeseen circumstances, such as weather and traffic conditions, theft or damage or a parcel not arriving at a certain time. Although our delivery service provider offers speedy delivery to most metropolitan areas sometimes your gift may be delayed and delivered later than pre-determined time. These circumstances are out of our control. Any delays causing your gift to not be delivered on schedule is not an applicable reason for refund of your gift (including the delivery charge) or delivery.

Should you be concerned that your gift has not arrived at your requested or the scheduled delivery time, please contact us & we will make every effort to track your gift

Q. What if my gift arrived damaged?

Although all efforts are made to ensure your gift is safely packaged inside a quality cardboard outer, fragile stickers & tape are placed on the outer carton, sometimes it is possible that damages can occur due to the handling of goods in transit. There is no insurance on any item shipped. Any goods shipped are not covered and therefore breakages in transit are not a valid reason for replacement or refund. We do our utmost to prevent breakages in transit by safely wrapping glass items in cushion wrap and tissue papers where possible and ensuring goods are safely packaged within each carton.

Depending on the circumstances, we may replace damaged goods upon return of the original gift, if the circumstances in which your gift was damaged is applicable to terms & conditions of our delivery service provider's consignor.

Q. How do I purchase from you and how do I pay?

If you just want to purchase individual gift set as shown in the website, just order through the website. Once we have received your order and confirm your payment with the relevant financial institution, we will package the gift set and contract our delivery service provider to deliver the gift. We accept most credit card. We can arrange for invoicing for organisations that have set up an account with us. Banking details are available for electronic transfers upon enquires.

If you are a corporate customers and have multiple gift sets to deliver, please contact us so that we can arrange the most appropriate ordering and delivery service for you.

Q. Do you have any discounts?
We are sometimes able to provide discounts on bulk purchases, so please ask us if any discounts are available.
Q. Are the gifts of high quality?

We not only always personally try all our hampers before we market, we also hold food tasting session whenever a new gift set is being made up. This will ensure not only the items in the gift set is of good quality but the combination is right. We regularly seek out the very best hampers, and continually update our range with fresh ideas. We only carry small volumes of stock on hand to ensure our hampers are rotated on a regular basis. We support our local industry by offering quality Australian made and owned gourmet & gift lines. We make sure as much as we can that our hampers are not available in big retail chain such as supermarket.

If there is a particular hamper that you like, we love getting feedback so we make sure we keep that hamper in stock.

Before your gift is sent, we quality check every hamper and hamper to make sure everything is in premium condition. And if we are out of stock, we will substitute an item of equal or greater value – so you can be sure you always get great value for your money.

Q. What if I want something tailor made?
This is always possible, just don't hesitate to contact us and give us an idea of the items and budget you have in mind.

Q. What if I am unhappy with your hamper or service?
We like to do our best to deliver fantastic service, offer competitive prices and provide the best quality hampers, so if there are ever any problems, please let us know so we can resolve the matter to your satisfaction. We see this as an opportunity to make it up to you. With respect to refund and conditions of refund, please refer to the Delivery Fee Schedule.
Q. Ordering from overseas
Fabulously Gourmet encourages clients outside of Australia to use this service for their Australia families and/or friends. Simply order and pay online. However, due to the nature of the item, Fabulously Gourmet will not be able to deliver to an oversea address.

If you would like to ask something which you cannot find the answer for on this or any other page on our website, our team would be delighted to help you in any way that we can. Please don't hesitate to contact us.
Q. Why haven't I received confirmation of my order?
If you have not received a confirmation receipt after placing the order for 8 hours either you have supplied us with an incorrectly typed in email address or you order is lost in transmission. Note that order lost in transmission is very rare as the hosting facility has full disaster recovery feature. Please contact us any time so that we can help you to verify your order.
Q. Are your prices in Australian or US dollars?
Unless otherwise stated all prices are given in Australian dollars (AUD$).
Q. Do the prices include delivery?
No. All prices exclude delivery charges. Please go to our Packaging and Delivery Schedule page for more information on charges.
Q. Is your ordering system secure?
Fabulously Gourmet uses e-Path Credit Card Payment Gateway (www.e-path.com.au).
Q. How do I know what is happening to my order?
Easy, once your order has been placed, we will send you an e-mail confirming your order details.
Q. Do you provide gift-wrapping and personal cards?
Yes, we do. Depending on season and period, a full size card (dimension will depends on the the card and designer) is included in the listed price of the hamper or gift box, you will be asked to enter a message to personalise your card when you place an order.
Q. Who Can Order Gifts That Contain Alcohol?
Some hampers or gift boxes contain alcohol, all alcohol purchase will be subjected to the standard alcohol purchase regulation in the State of Victoria, Australia.
